Pegasus. A Unholy Nexus between Countries

To be honest, I did wondered why many countries in the world always showed so much compassion to a small country. Israel has never had this great power than ever before. Still, many countries did came forward in unison with this small country and show utmost care as if it was one of the most powerful country in the world. Reading the New York Times report last day, yes, there is something this country hold that is catastrophic. The Pegasus.

Pegasus is basically a spyware, to those who don’t know I think I should clarify. There is many spyware that we could download from chrome or safari, which is true. But Pegasus is no ordinary spyware. It’s a very powerful spyware that it could track down anyone in the world. And that itself is what makes it dangerous. There were many rumours of spywares and data tracking even before Pegasus. We have heard a lot from the whistleblowers like Snowden and Julian Assange. But this one is technically Huge.

There were many Rumours regarding the “Unholy Relationship” Between India and Israel. The New York Times Report last day did blew the whistle and confirmed about this. India did bought Pegasus Software From Israel. Correction, The Prime Minister Modi did bought pegasus software from Israel.

When an acquisition like this came against the central government of India, the opposition party did filed a charge against this in the Supreme Court of India. The reply of the central government to whether they bought this spyware was, its something regarding the national security of the country and cannot be revealed. At that time itself the government was like half agreeing tooth fact that they did bought the software. If they haven’t bought the software they could have told so directly. Right now through New York Times the whole world did came to know about the fact that India did bought this software.

in 2017 when an Indian PM visited Israel, it was history. It was the first time an Indian PM visited Israel. Nobody find anything strange about that visit at least that time. India keep supporting Israel in many world stages despite any notable contribution by Israel to India. Later on Benjamin Netanyahu visited India later which also made some press attention. India kept on supporting Israel, especially on Palestine conflicts and also in United Nation. Israel Kept on supporting India when Pakistan and china made a tension on borders by saying that if any country attack India, Israel will provide with any reinforcements and ammunitions needed. When both countries supported each other like this, nobody guessed about this being a type of “Friends with Benefits Type” of Relationship.

What Makes this a big deal is, in future the wars between countries will never be the way you think it is. During the older times, people used swords for wars. Then came the era of Kalashnikovs and other guns and people fought war with these weapons. But the time has changed. In this new generation of the world, the war between countries would be a cyber warfare. The time of collecting ammo’s and making nukes are over. The whole world is now connected as one in Internet. Making a cyber warfare would lead to a very devastating conditions the Gen-Z could even think of.

India making a relationship with Israel to buy a spyware is very unfortunate. Its not the fact it is Israel. It is the fact that India trying to buy a spyware is condemnable. Using the term National Security for the sake of spying over people is not justifiable. Maybe it is being used for national security. But a spyware this powerful like pegasus, we cannot guarantee it is not misused.

Servers going down

While I am writing this blog, the whole world is like in a blackout condition. Worlds biggest social media platforms, Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook are down. Mark Zuckerberg has a lot of work to do to get these things online.

The thing we should think is, this is not the first time Facebook or its companies are facing blackouts. Whatsapp also went down last day for like 2 hours straight. But this time it has hit harder. All the social media platforms under Facebook is down, and while the time I am writing this blog, it has been 4 hours and still no connection established.

Blackouts like these should be avoided. When these 3 companies were 3 different companies as its own, these types of incidents has never occured. Facebook and Mark has always used this Social Media industry only for bussiness. He got rid of the competition by buying up the competitors. We can’t blame him, because it’s legal and not unethical. But think from a user’s point of view it was unnecessary. I believe If that thing never happened, we could have avoided server getting down frequently.

Many unconfirmed reports states that it was the attack by Chinese hackers which made the servers go down. I believe that the federal government would look into it and see this as a serious matter and would punish the guilty. If this reports are true, then this is the most unfortunate incident to happen in cyber security awareness month.

Social media blackouts like this should be avoided if we could. In a very progressive world like we have today, the server outage is something we cannot think of. Humans are social beings as we all know. We should avoid these type of situations if we could. And if it’s the work of enemies we should destroy our perpetrators.

Hoping that the Social media’s would come back to normal way as soon as possible. Till then, Twitter, Discord and Telegram it is 😉

வணக்கம் சென்னை- Hello Chennai

My visit to the one of the biggest cities in South India was one of the best trips I have ever went. A 5 day expedition which was very virtuous. The reason I visited chennai at the first place was due to some personal things, which I might share in the upcoming write-outs.

I visited chennai during the pandemic situation around the world. At the time the covid cases in India was depleting slowly, but my state, kerala, due to many factors was still contributing to the daily covid cases in India. Due to this pandemic condition we had to follow some extra safety guidelines that I mentioned in my last writeup. Passengers should be either double dose vaccinated or they should have an Real Time RT-PCR test result taken just 72 hours before the time of arrival at destination airport.

For me, I was fully vaccinated as of July 2021, with 2 doses of Oxford- AstraZeneca Covid-19 Vaccine, Popularly known as Covishield vaccine in India. Though vaccinated, during the time of travel, we also had to wear face mask, face shield which were mandatory. People sitting at middle seat should also had to wear mandatory PPE kits, even if the persons sitting at aisle and window seats are our family people. All these safety apparatuses were provided by the Airline company itself. There would be a mandatory Temperature Check in the departure and arrival airports.

Now let’s get to Chennai 😉. Chennai was one of the biggest cities i have ever seen in South india. It was so huge that, even one week was not enough to fully explore the city. The cuisine of the city is exquisite and top notch. Let me explain some points which I noted and would like to share

🄸🄽🄵🅁🄰🅂🅃🅁🅄🄲🅃🅄🅁🄴- The city has a great infrastructure to explore. The way the buildings are built and the way the places have been utilised and filled is something amusing. It’s a thick packed city with many buildings than you could imagine. Consulates of many countries, headquarters of many companies, including TV studio’s, metro, elevated Flyways, train stations, both suburbans and main Southern railway stations, world class hotels and restaurants, resorts, there are so many. But still the city was not tightly packed. The city is big and vast

🄵🄾🄾🄳- Food is one of the biggest core element to explore in all of south india. Chennai is more intrigue in this matter. The biggest “not-to-miss” foods in Chennai is the Thali meals. Though I am not a very good food reviewer, belive me this thing will make your mouth watering again and again. The biriyani from sukkubhai. It’s one of the most infamous restaurant in Chennai. Sukkubhai offers one of the best biriyani you would ever have in your life. Dosa vada, another dish to dig into with sambhar and chutney. And many more. You coming to explore food, you will be flabbergasted for sure.

🄽🄸🄶🄷🅃 🄻🄸🄵🄴- Night life in Chennai is colourful. But that stands for city only. To the outskirts or village area, night life is quite. City’s Night life is very “VIBE”ing, but comparing to Banglore, still banglore was a good option for night life. Chennai’s night life could end just after midnight or so. But banglore is different. Even if you get out at 3 in the morning, you could still see people in the city and some stores would still be open. Many of the stores in Banglore is running 24 hours a day. In Chennai, night life is OK-OK type.

🄰🅃🅃🄸🅃🅄🄳🄴 🄾🄵 🄿🄴🄾🄿🄻🄴- attitude of people is one of the negative shade of the city. The attitude of people in many places did made a negative impression for me while my expedition in the city. I still remember, I saw a boy beating up a girl with fist in broad daylight. The funny thing is he was doing this in front of one of the most secured area in the city, in front of the Consulate of the United States of America. He did that in front of a battalions of police. Still they didn’t even to take a check. I still remember the incident like it wad yesterday. Peoples attitude towards tourists is also funny. I always recommend those who reads this to commute only through ola and uber. Don’t use Auto rickshaws randomly. If you want to travel by rickshaw, use ola. Ola gives a wide range of vehicles to commute including bikes if you are travelling solo. Auto people whom you choose randomly will charge more than you can imagine. It’s more like looting you indefinitely. Check if the place you commuting to has Metro connectivity. If it has, go for it. Metro is also one of the great mode of commuting in Chennai

🄾🅅🄴🅁🄰🄻🄻- Overall, the city is great to explore for all category of people. All sorts of economical class of people can enjoy the city in anyways. If you are a middle class section, you could save a great amount of money and still see the city in its pureness. If you are from a top elite class, you could throw a lot of money and enjoy it the other way. It’s suitable for any class of people’s.

The above review of the city is my experience of the city. If you had visited the city and have a different experience, share it with world. These statements above is clearly what I experienced on my own.

Travelling During the Course of Pandemic in India.

As we all know, india is one among the most worst affected country of covid- 19 pandemic. It was a very devestating situation of the country during the uprise of cases. It was one of the country which imposed the “Lockdown Culture” at first in the world. And this lockdown culture was followed by many of the countries after that. But still, while many of the countries gave lockdown relaxations, the country hold on to strict lockdown for a very long time.

All though those times were very desperate, the dawn is in the past. After a whopping vaccination campaigns around the world and also in the country, india has open the doors for tourisms. After a long one and a half years, tourists became slowly active in the streets of India.

It was very difficult for the economy of the country to grow during the lockdown. India is one of the country that tourism is a big market. Goverment usually gets a lot of income through the tourism industry. But with its closure due to pandemic, it was a big setback for the country.

Though the country is open for tourism there still is some travel guidelines to follow for a safe commute. The traveller should be vaccinated with 2 doses of Any covid-19 vaccinations now available in the world. And furthermore, the airlines would do a temperature check and confirm the body temperature is under what they call “Sickness Level”. Masks is mandatory during the commute even if you are travelling through bus, train or even airplane. These are the travel guidelines for domestic commute in india at the moment

For international visitors and people leaving the country, along with all the guidelines given above, they also would have to take an Real Time RT-PCR test result for travelling. The RT-PCR test results should be of 72 hours prior of the journey time.

It’s safe now to travel domestically inside india, I will give that one to my readers. I myself travelled a lot after the covid relaxations being imposed, including tamil nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, which I think I would share in my next upcoming blogs. Overall, it is safe to travel inside india, if you are vaccinated.

So whats the wait. Pack up and go 😉

9/11- The Day Which Changed the United States Forever

September 11, 2001. The sun did rise placidly. But little did the nation of dreams dreamt about this apocalyptic set of events. Perpetrators Bin- Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri made the city of Manhattan in pinpoint for hours. The whole world stood still in front of media’s, awestruck with what happened to the most powerful country in the world. It was indeed a black day in history. I, personally pay my homage to the martyrs of September 11 attack. Terrorism should be wiped from the face of earth. It has became the inevitability of the new world.

But there is one thing that we should look into today’s world. 10 years after that incident where is our world right now. What happened to the country the terrorist attacked. Did the terrorism became successful and the people perished? . What Happened to the country?.

The 9/11 attack was indeed a challenging one for the worlds most powerful country in the world. That event did question the security of the citizens that was offered by the country. Being the president during the time, it was a chaotic condition for President Bush. Me, I personally wonder, what kind of a situation that man had to go through. It is unimaginable. It truly is.

Estimated death toll was nearly 3000. 2,997 to be exact. That is not a small number. One of the biggest number of souls lost in a single terrorist attack. Seeing the footage from those days in youtube still makes me shed tears. They were not just some souls lost. They were truly martyrs.

But 10 years after that event. What is the situation of terrorism in the world?. Terrorism has outgrowned in this world exponentially. That is a fact. Even those events of September 11 has became a “role model” event for some people to join terrorism. Even when I am writing this blog, a countries administration is being run by a terrorist organisation. Totally Unimaginable events occurring in this world. They talk about change. But changing the world with the lose of souls is not a change. What is the use of a changed world, if there is no one else to live?. Terrorism should be and always should be wiped out from the face of the world.

The attack at the world trade centre did made America stand in a very big question mark. But now where are they?. Still at the top of the world if you ask me. America is in their glorious times even in this pandemic time. Nothing can defeat this country. Whatever may come. War?, Terrorist attacks?, Pandemic?, Try bigger. But this country would always rise up from ashes like a phoenix bird.

As an old man said:-

America was not built on Fear. America was built on courage, on imagination, and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand
